Each group will be assigned a horse to evaluate, trim and shoe per the whole horse approach. Riders will evaluate the progress as well. The cost per person are as follows:
Attend all three (3) days = $300 which includes a free 2018 Summer Summit memororabilia T-Shirt, Lunch and drinks for all three days.
Attend two (2) days = $250 which includes a free 2018 Summer Summit memorabilia T-Shirt, Lunch and drinks for both days.
Atttend one (1) day = $125 which includes a free 2018 Summer Summit memorabilia T-Shirt, lunch and drinks for that day.

Day One (1) - Thursday, August 9, 2018 Time - 8:30 am Check-in. 9:00 am - 5:00 pm - Lectures/Wet Labs - Practical Anatomy Dissections 7:00 pm - Evening Supper and Activity
Day Two (2) - Friday, August 10, 2018 Time - 10:00 am - 2:00 pm - Power Point Lecture on Radiology for the Farrier 3:00 pm - 5:00pm - Afternoon Tour Activity is a two brewery tour. Sign up is done separate from the Summer Summit registration. All-inclusive Brewery Tour: price includes the cost of transportation, a flight of beer at each stop, all tips (driver & beertenders), VIP tours at participating brewery's, snacks & water on the bus, and a tour director leading beer education, trivia, and keeping everything on track. Tour cost will be around $75 per person. This is a great worry free option for those that want the full experience and everything paid for up front.
Day Three (3) - Saturday, August 11, 2018 Time 10:00 am - 6:00 pm - Hands on Forging Day 8:00 pm - Midnight - Evening Campfire and Closing
Stockhoff's will be returning again with their mobile farrier store. Please be free to bring your own lawn chairs to lectures for more comfortable seating. Tables and chairs are provided. Lodge has indoor restrooms, Evening campfire has a portable bathroom. Dogs are allowed on leashes.
August in the area can be hot during the days (80-100F) with night time temperatures a little lower (50-80F). Rain or passing thunderstorms seems to be a norm.

There is also a campground within a few miles of the Lodge and next to the Cabin. It is a smaller campground accommodating tents to fifth wheels.
